Crafting with Foggy – Building a Puppet: Patterns, Sewing & Construction (Part 2) Welcome back to the workshop! In Part 2 of this puppet-building series, I continue creating a backup version of Foggy, my goblin puppet, so I’ll have a duplicate available for stunt shots, travel adventures, and future filming. In this episode, I begin constructing the puppet’s mouth plate from foam interfacing. I use spray adhesive to attach black fleece, trace the pattern, then cut it out, creating the inside of the puppet’s mouth. Next I use the sewing machine and begin stitching on Foggy’s signature teeth, bringing the character one step closer to life.
