The best Walk in Snowdonia? – Moelwyn Mawr, Rhosydd Quarry & Cnicht

Join us as we return to the beautiful village of Croesor in Eryri (Snowdonia), this time to tackle the full Croesor Horseshoe Walk – a stunning 7-mile circular route that takes in: Moelwyn Mawr – one of the most iconic peaks in southern Snowdonia. The atmospheric Rhosydd Quarry, a fascinating abandoned slate quarry nestled high in the mountains. Cnicht (the “Welsh Matterhorn”) – climbed via the easy, less technical route from the col, making it accessible to more walkers. I’m joined on this adventure by my partner, and along the way we stop for some mountain food with the trusty Jetboil stove before declaring this the greatest walk in Snowdonia with the best views you’ll ever see.
