Introduction to Pipe Stem Shaping and File Modification: Part 1
This is the first of a series discussing of the finishing of pipe stems using modified files and scrapers. I demonstrate using pre-formed vulcanite stems although the techniques shown can be applied to other materials and/or precision projects. An overhead view of the benchtop allows you to easily see the process. I briefly talk about pipe stem psychology and free flowing airways.
