The Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta, confirmed that he traveled to Portugal in 2024 on an aircraft linked to businessman Daniel Vorcaro, at the invitation of Senator Ciro Nogueira. The parliamentarian also admitted that part of the accommodation in Lisbon was paid for by the businessman, who is currently under investigation by the Federal Police. The case gained prominence after the release of reports from Operation Compliance Zero. While Motta claims that only two days were paid for, the Federal Police maintains that Vorcaro paid for at least five days of accommodation.
