RS 100, 700, 800 European Championship/Fraglia Vela Riva

The European RS 100, 700 and 800 Championships are under way at Fraglia Vela Riva. These classes of the "skiff" category are fun and fast and are especially popular in Great Britain. The RS 100 and 700 are single vessels with only the helmsman on board while the RS 800 is a double. 70 boats in all are here at Riva del Garda for this first week with another 120 expected on Monday 23rd July for the World RS 500 Championships and the RS Eurocup for the RS 200 and 400 classes. Two events in succession which symbolise the tie between tourism and sailing.
