De Vergeten Glasfabriek in Nieuw Buinen

NIEUW BUINEN - When thinking of glass factories in Nieuw Buinen, glass enthusiasts often immediately think of the Thöne/Bakker and Meursing factories. Yet, there was also a third factory. The Nanninga factory survived until the 1980s. Originally a machine factory, it was later transformed into a glass factory by its owner. Under the title "The Forgotten Glass Factory," glass collector Henk Brans has curated an exhibition of products from the Nanninga factory.
