The MTB boom of the 80's & 90's was RAD, it got so many people on bikes....then for whatever reason some folks put them away for good one day, like this Redline Conquest 2 - this bike was forgotten for decades! Until the original owner pulled it out of their dusty garage & listed it on marketplace. That's where our story begins! My friend Matt Cordova was working in Idaho, saw the listing & bought it as quickly as he could knowing what potential it had. After knocking out a few miles on the stock setup only to be stopped when he destroyed the OG tires & ripped the freewheel off the hub. That's when he called me. He was headed back to Colorado in a few days - we planned out the build, I ordered parts & the second he got back - we got to work.
