July 3rd, 2026, Washington and Bath North Carolina

For the 4th of July weekend, (2026) we decided to go see some of the oldest settlements in North Carolina. Today we went to Washington and Bath. We were thinking about staying in Washington but by the time we decide we were going to adventure most places were booked or way out of my price range. The heat was really bad that weekend, upper 90s, topping 100 in places, so I had to stay in the car mostly. Sorry for the sound of rushing wind... apparently that is the A/C in the car.
