Massive Turnout at Funeral of Cop Slain in Line of Duty
It’s a sea of blue in Chicago to honor the life of slain police officer Ella French. Hundreds of officers from across the country saluted the first female Chicago cop to be killed in the line of duty in 33 years. Now her partner Carlos Yanez Jr., who was also critically wounded in the attack, is speaking out for the first time from the hospital, thanking supporters for their donations and prayers. He was shot in the eye and currently is paralyzed. He faces a long recovery.
