Stephen Brown: Evangelical Christian Converts to Islam

First Podcast Episode Is Finally Up! I had the pleasure of having a very good friend of mine sharing his reversion story to Islam. On this first episode Stephen Brown shares the challenges that he faced in reverting to Islam in addition to some of the pitfalls that he noticed many muslims falls into while practicing the faith. Stephen came to Quebec with his entire family as an evangelical Christian from english Canada in order to preach evangelical Christianity to Catholics. Lo and behold, a few years later after he arrived, he ended up reverting to Islam and many of his family members followed suit. Stephen’s story is, in so many ways, intertwined with my own reversion story as he was a huge inspiration for me in my early days of having reverted to Islam when I was weakening in my own faith as a new Muslim. There is no doubt that I wouldn’t be the person I am today if I wouldn’t have met Stephen Hamdulilah rabiAllahmin. We often forget that all of us are who we are primarily because of the influence of the people around us. I find Stephen's story absolutely captivating and I am sure you will also. Enjoy!
