Sean Langan is a British journalist and documentary filmmaker who has spent decades reporting from some of the world's most dangerous conflict zones, including Afghanistan, Iraq and Russia. He spent years covering the Taliban in his documentaries Fighting the Taliban, Meeting the Taliban and Afghan Ladies' Driving School. In 2008, he and his translator were kidnapped while filming in the Afghanistan–Pakistan border region.
