Aker QRILL, owner of the trawler, described the strike as deliberate, warning that a rupture could have caused a fuel spill. Prior to the collision, activists also attempted to damage nets of another krill harvester, Antarctic Endurance. The Captain Paul Watson Foundation, operating Bandero, called the incident an accidental collision and emphasized its commitment to lawful, non-violent action to protect marine ecosystems. The group aims to disrupt krill fishing in key whale, seal, and penguin feeding grounds. #Antarctica #KrillFishing #MarineConservation #EnvironmentalActivism #CaptainPaulWatson #AkerQRILL #WildlifeProtection #OceanSafety #NonViolentProtest #Penguins #Seals #Whales
