Lausanne, Switzerland Metro Line M2 (Part 1)

When we visited Lausanne had two lines - M1, a light rail metro, and M2 a rubber-tyred line (similar to some Paris Metro lines - that must be why the door closing alert sounds familiar!). Line M2 was developed from the Lausanne-Ouchy rack railway which connected the city to the lake. When Line M2 opened, Lausanne replaced Rennes in France as the smallest city in the world to have a full metro system. Thanks for visiting - please don't forget to like, share and subscribe!
