Fujica Single-8 promo film - Flashing Down Mount Fuji
A Single-8 promo film "Flashing Down Mount Fuji", probably from the mid 60's, made by FUJIFILM Photo Film to promote their new Instant Load Single-8 film standard. It features alpinist Yuichiro Miura, the first person to ski on Mount Everest. In this movie, his attempt skiing down mount Fuji in 1966 is documented. This particular copy of this historic promo film has been heavily used at a technical department for Single-8 and Super-8 movie projectors as a test film, so it caught quite some scratches and dirt. Also, some portions of the sound got erased as well.
