It is also considered to be Greta Garbo's finest performance, and also her favourite film ► N O T E I have to say, first of all, that I adore garbo in her performance here, more so than any of her other characters throughout her career. She was tragic but comedic and it's so ironic how she can juggle those two opposite traits so perfectly.
