We leave Meru town and head into one of Kenya's most underrated landscapes: Nyambene Hills. This scenic 4K POV drive takes you from Meru town, just off the Meru bypass, through Mikunduri and toward Maua. But before we get there, the Nyambene Hills put on a show. The hills are vast and visible from kilometers away, rising into low-hanging clouds that wrap around the highest peaks. We drive right through the Nyambene forest on sections of road that feel like you're cutting through another world entirely. Hairpin turns and drops on either side keep you alert. We end with a stop for a close look at tea farms that terrace their way down the hillside before we roll into Maua, the miraa capital of Kenya.
