Assumption football celebrates district title with win over Vandebilt; Reece Turner enjoys big night

Assumption QB Reece Turner had over 300 yards of offense and four touchdowns in 55-30 win over Vandebilt. Turner had 230 rushing yards, 200 passing yards and two rushing/passing touchdowns. He converted three two-point conversions and made a few tackles as a defender. Assumption RB Chase Jacobs, who is the nephew of former Assumption/NFL running back Brandon Jacobs, had three touchdowns. Jaylon Coleman led Vandebilt with 195 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns, 41 receiving yards and a 50-yard kickoff return. By Chris Singleton
