2018 BMW X1 sdrive28i 2.0 B46/B48 rod and main bolts torque specs complication, and my research results; connecting rod bolt part N BMW-11247589671 , 5NM, 20NM, +70 Degrees, according to my calculations and Stretch gage that’s, Appears to be correct. Main bolts p N 11118604584 , I never found a correct number, but I did tried to do it twice by 65 after 20NM and bolts became over starch and soft and (brake) that’s why I think it’s wrong, most likely it be something like 5NM 20NM or 25NM and 65 or 70 degrees, but since I didn’t find any confirmation that is 100% correct. I reused my old bolts in 3 steps to 60ftlb , which is only because this was not a proper repair to begin with. And I had to work with what I had and out of that I was only confident in rod bolts specs. What I would suggest to someone doing same job is ; arp rod bolts 201-6303 and arp main stud kit bmw S58 ; on 5150 auto sport , and make sure it got your original bolt part number listed as a replacement, then you will have a torque specs and confidence that it is done correctly. Because I spent to much time on research with original bolts and I don’t have confidence that I did it correctly. And don’t trust information that pops up in google or YouTube from un trusted source in Chinese language.
