The pleasure and honor of spending a morning hunting crow with master hunter Roberto Ardesi, creator of the renowned crow call, the S5 Crow. It's 5:30 in the morning, and I'm standing on the side of the road in front of the hotel where I spent the night. I'm in the Vercelli area, in Piedmont, my friend Roberto's hunting area, where he expertly stalks crow. I'm waiting for him, who will pick me up in a few minutes to take me to the spot I've chosen for today's crow hunt. Roberto Ardesi is a passionate crow hunter, and perhaps even more so, a lover of making hunting decoys. He began by making duck decoys, and from there, he moved on to creating crow decoys, where, after years of dedication, he pulled the legendary S5 Crow out of his hat. The S5 Crow, as he calls it, is his latest creation, the object thanks to which I had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful person, with whom I have developed a wonderful friendship. I have the opportunity to hold an S5 Crow in my hands a few months after my passion for crow hunting exploded. At that time, I had already tried two other crow calls, both of which were disappointing from my point of view. When I played the S5 Crow for the first time (I emphasize, with little experience), it nevertheless produced a sound that amazed me! Wow! A real crow! Some time has passed since then, and here I am today, on this cold morning in the plains of Vercelli, ready to spend a day hunting crow with Roberto and his inseparable companion Oliva, who is also trying to get her hunting license (good luck, Oliva!). The morning together was wonderful, full of laughter, pots, and great shots, and I learned so much from Roberto. I hope, with this hunting video, I can convey at least some of the emotions I felt!
