Sinjajevina is a unique and sparsely populated 1000 km2 pastoral highland in northern Montenegro with unique biodiversity. It is part of the Tara River Basin UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. However, the area and its inhabitants are threatened by plans to establish a test polygon for military weapons there.
