Renaissance Dance: Les Bouffons

This is our version of the Renaissance Dance Les Bouffons. The dance features in Thoinot Arbeau's Orchésographie, but we have made some changes, hoping to maintain the essence of the dance, whilst giving it our own flavour. It was recorded live during our performance of 'All's Fair in Love and War' at Trinity Uniting Church, Brighton. The Courtly Arts Performers of Victoria are an Australian performance group, comprising dancers formerly known as the Ripponlea Renaissance and Baroque dancers, and the Early Music Consort of Melbourne.
