Jacques adds that the French are more anti-Arab than anti-Jewish these days. He adds that he talks about this with his brother, Claude Lanzmann. He then explains that books have taught him a certain serenity. He shares his perspective on humanity: for 66 years, he believed that humanity was good, but that's over.
