Rivet City's inhabitants enjoy relative safety and security inside the aircraft carrier. A number of guards rotate 24 hours a day to protect the ship from raiders, super mutants, mirelurks and any other threats to the city and its inhabitants. Rivet City includes a shopping area, as well as an American history museum, science lab, church, clinic, bar and hotel. As for the Talon Company mercs are almost always hostile to Me wherever they are encountered. In some areas, like Takoma Industrial and the Capitol Building, they will be found in combat with other groups such as super mutants, but will still be hostile to the player character.
