Mumbwa | Zambia

Mumbwa district is situated in the southern part of Central province, about 63 km west of the capital city, Lusaka. It covers an estimated total area of 19,643 km2 and lies between latitude 14° 58' S east and longitude 27° 3' South of the equator and shares boundaries with Itezhi Tezhi, Nkeyema, Chibombo and Kapiri Mposhi. Mumbwa district is home to two National Parks; The Kafue National Park and Blue Lagoon National Park.
