Simple Father was blind with anger so he tore the will. Compound (conjunction 'so') Father tore the will because he was blind with anger Complex (adverbial clause of reason) Father who was blind with anger tore the will. Complex (adjectival clause) 3. Driving home, he stopped to drink tea. Simple. (driving and to drink are not verbs) He was driving home and he stopped to drink tea.
