Faire savoir l'expérience (Conférence de la revue Rhizome - 2024)

The journal Rhizome, published by Orspere-Samdarra, organized the Rhizome discussion-conference evening as part of the 2024 Mental Health Weeks and in partnership with the Maison du livre, de l’image et du son (House of Books, Images, and Sound). This event highlighted the Rhizome Notebooks #89-90 (2024) entitled “Sharing Experiences.” During this conference, the speakers shared their experiences and discussed their work in mediation and the value placed on lived experiences. We thank the following speakers for their contributions: Anne Pernet, peer support worker in mental health (Espair), Lotfi Bechellaoui, peer support worker in mental health (Le Vinatier University Psychiatry Center), and Aman Mohamad-Said, interpreter-mediator at L’espace (Orspere-Samdarra). This event was moderated by Élodie Picolet, Deputy Director of Publications for Rhizome (Orspere-Samdarra). The conference took place on October 8, 2024, at the Maison du livre, de l’image et du son (Villeurbanne). ... Orspere-Samdarra, the national observatory on "Mental Health, Vulnerabilities, and Societies," founded in 1996, is hosted by the Le Vinatier University Hospital in Lyon. It is directed by Halima Zeroug-Vial, a psychiatrist, and is staffed by a multidisciplinary team. Comprising a research unit and a resource unit, its activities are aimed at professionals, individuals affected by social or psychological vulnerability, and policymakers.
