Tropheus im natürlichen Biotop
Red Rainbow, Kaisermoorii, and many other Tropheus species inhabit the sun-drenched coastal areas of Lake Tanganyika. In the wild, these agile fish are even more beautiful than in an aquarium. Tropheus inhabit the rocky shoreline at a depth of about one meter. These fascinating mouthbrooders are not suitable for beginners. They require large aquariums, frequent water changes, and a predominantly vegetarian diet.
