Está es la verdadera razón por la que Jalisco y Colima se separaron
This is the real reason why Jalisco and Colima separated ►Subscribe to the channel: https://bit.ly/3aBAm2W Jalisco and Colima are two neighboring states located in western Mexico. Although each has its own identity, they also share an impressive geography with volcanoes, mountain ranges, and mighty rivers, a common history dating back to the pre-Hispanic period, and cultural expressions that reveal this ancient brotherhood. Both states also maintain a close economic relationship, as a large part of Jalisco's industrial production finds its way to the port of Manzanillo, Colima, a key route for international trade. This deep relationship between the two states dates back to the colonial period, when Colima was part of Jalisco as one of the territories administered by the Guadalajara Intendancy. However, in 1824, Colima separated from Jalisco and began a long process of emancipation until, amid the turbulent national landscape of the time, it was recognized as a free and sovereign state. Why did the viceroyalty unite Colima with Jalisco? Why did they separate despite existing ties? How has the independent history of both states evolved, and how, at the same time, do they continue to share a common identity?
