Curry is a double board certified podiatrist specializing in foot surgery and wound care. She treated a variety of ailments below the knee from bunions to ankle fractures. She served the Atlanta community for over 14 years in private practice at Ankle and Foot Centers of GA and worked with the residency training of podiatrists at Emory University Hospital. She also served as the Chief and Vice-Chief of the podiatry department at Emory Hillandale hospital. In May 2025, she abruptly stopped working following a diagnosis of cerebellum ataxia related to the autoimmune disease Stiff Person syndrome. During the recovery she had to relearn how to walk, speak and eat. However, continued ataxia symptoms in her hands and voice have prevented a full return to clinical practice and surgery. She continues to enjoy spending time with her husband, raising 3 beautiful children and traveling whenever possible. She still shares her podiatric expertise as much as possible, since her motto in clinic was often "an educated patient is a healthy patient."
