I chose one of the hottest days of the year to visit Kew Gardens. Naturally, one of my first stops was the Palm House. For anyone unfamiliar with the Palm House, imagine standing inside a giant Victorian greenhouse filled with tropical plants. In other words, I responded to extreme heat by voluntarily entering even more heat. I regret nothing.
