160922 셋째날 - 경외함 (강은도목사)

1. David gathered again the thirty thousand men chosen from Israel. 2. David arose and went with all those who were with him to Baale-Judah to bring up the ark of God from there, which is called by the name of the Lord of Hosts, who sits enthroned between the cherubim. 3. They loaded the ark of God onto a new wagon and came out of the house of Abinadab on the hill, and Uzzah and Ahio, sons of Abinadab, drove the new wagon. 4. As they came out of the house of Abinadab on the hill carrying the ark of God, Ahio went before the ark. 5. David and all the house of Israel played before the Lord with various musical instruments made of cypress wood, harps, lyres, tambourines, cymbals, and cymbals. 6. When they reached the threshing floor of Nachon, the oxen stumbled, so Uzzah lifted up his hand to hold the ark of God. 7. The Lord God was angry with Uzzah because of his transgression, and He struck him there; and there he was God's He died beside the ark. 8. The LORD struck Uzzah, and David was angry, so he named the place Perez-Uzzah; and that name remains to this day. 9. David feared the LORD that day and said, “How can the ark of the LORD come to me?” 10. David did not want to carry the ark of the LORD to the City of David to himself, but carried it to the house of Obed-Edom the Gathite. 11. The ark of the LORD was in the house of Obed-Edom the Gathite for three months, and the LORD blessed Obed-Edom and his whole house. 12. Someone said to King David, “The LORD has blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all his possessions because of the ark of God.” So David went and carried the ark of God with joy from the house of Obed-Edom up to the City of David. 13. When the men carrying the ark of the LORD had taken six steps, David offered sacrifices of oxen and fattened calves. 14. David [said to the LORD] He danced with all his might in front of them, and at that time David was wearing a linen ephod. 15. David and all the house of Israel shouted for joy and blew trumpets as they brought in the ark of the LORD.
