Laatste dag in de jungle en chaos op de lokale markt! | Afl 5 van Mátyás op Missie in… Madagaskar
Today is our last day in the jungle, and we are discovering another side of Madagascar: the daily life of the people. We visit a local market and see how things are done just a little differently here than back home. We also stop by a vanilla plantation and discover why we wouldn't be able to get vanilla here without Madagascar. In between encounters, we also spot bizarre animals again, such as the comet butterfly, the giraffe beetle, and a perfectly camouflaged gecko. A new video appears every Thursday at 6:00 PM! About this project: This series was created in collaboration with 13 zoos affiliated with the Dutch Zoo Association (NVD). With this joint project in Madagascar, they are restoring 250 hectares of rainforest by planting 1 million trees. In doing so, they protect the habitat of several unique but endangered animal species.
