Many fellow travelers heading to the Picos de Europa in motorhomes ask if it's possible to drive down to Caín to explore the Cares Gorge. Therefore, we've decided to upload a summary of the small road that follows the Cares River from Posada de Valdeón to the small village of Caín. I hope it clears things up for you. In Posada de Valdeón, there's a fantastic area with electricity for €10/24 hours. Here's a taxi service we found excellent, which allows dogs to travel with us.
