Advice for New BJJ Coaches Nervous About Teaching Classes

Today's BJJ Q&A video is about tips for new Brazilian Jiu-jitsu coaches. I received a question from a young Brown Belt who is a new assistant coach asking about common mistakes that new coaches in BJJ make. And while everyone is different. I did prepare 4 tips that have been useful to me and some of my other coaches who teach beginner classes. Here's the tips. 1.Don't under-appreciate how good you've gotten in BJJ. 2.When teaching classes, don't always try to WOW everyone. 3. Be empathetic towards where people are in their path in Jiu-jitsu. 4. Use people's names when coaching. It helps with connecting. Hopefully if you're in a similar spot about coaching the video will be useful. -Chewy ----------------- Free Ebook: http://www.chewjitsu.net/focused-jiu-...
