GUEST TALK on “Infant and Young Child Feeding”
On the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week - 2021, the department of Paediatric Nursing RajaRajeswari School & College of Nursing, Bangalore, organized an 1week of Programs and different events were organized from 9th August to14th august 2021. To sensitize the 3rd B.SC Nursing and GNM 2nd year students Of RajaRajeswari College of Nursing, a guest talk on “Infant and Young Child Feeding” was organized on 12th August 2021, from 3-4 pm through Microsoft team’s virtual platform. Mrs Debalina Dey, asst professor, dept of paediatric Nursing, RRCN delivered the welcome speech. Mrs. S. Jasmine Hilta, Asst professor ,Holy Family Institute of Nursing education ,Mumbai delivered the session on Infant and young child feeding highlighted on importance of infant feeding and complementary feeding . The participants clarified their doubts in the question and answer session and expressed that the session was useful and beneficial. The session was attended by 250 students. At the end vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs. Kanchana Naik, HOD, Dept Of Paediatric Nursing, RRCN, Bangalore.
