In this video we travel from Asheville North Carolina to Lewisville Kentucky to Pick up the custom habitat from Trax Off Grid. Then back to Asheville to pick up our gear and the wife, then all the way back to Seattle Washington. A nice leisurely 60MPH drive for about 3,000 miles. What Could Go Wrong? Also in August, With NO AC... man I have to finish that project. and yes the door will be painted. They only sell it in white so that is the color I ordered. Things that broke on the truck were. 1. starter 2. remote door locks 3. rear pinion seal 4. temporary airline block ended up cracking. but that is another story. something about setting up for an air horn install and then having to drive across the country to pick up a box... but we'll save that for another time. if you need a place to stay just north of Asheville NC the pear tree cabin was an excellent place to chill for 6 weeks.
