Jakarta Street Food Under $5 š®š© Trying Martabak Manis, Gado Gado & Kopi Lokal
On my last day in Jakarta I decided to try some of the local street food. Before this I was too hesitant as I was only in the country for a few days and didnāt want to take any unnecessary risks and potentially write off my whole trip. Jakarta's street food is probably very underrated and probably quite unknown compared to the rest of South East Asia. In this video, I try three Indonesian classics: Martabak Manis (the ultimate sweet pancake), authentic Kopi Lokal brewed right on the street. Although I didn't go for the Gado Gado (peanut-sauce-drenched vegetable salad) as I was concerned about the hygiene and I didn't want to risk getting sick. The best part? All this food for about Ā£4/$5!
