It Was a Party Before it Was a Murder

On the cocktail side of things, today Ben is drinking a Country Roads while Matthew is drinking a Toronto. Recipes below. Country Roads • 2 oz Canadian Whiskey (okay to sub bourbon or rye) • 1/4 oz Fernet Branca • 1/4 oz Brown Sugar syrup (simple syrup fine too) • 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters • Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake until chilled and strain into a chilled coupe glass. Toronto • 2 oz Canadian Whiskey (okay to sub bourbon or rye) • 1/4 oz Fernet Branca • 1/4 oz Brown Sugar syrup (simple syrup fine too) • 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters • Mix all ingredients in a rocks glass and add ice.
