Why Are Your Standards SOOOOOOO Low!?!?!? *MUST WATCH!!!!!*

Hey y’all! We are talking all things high standards today! This is the newest and (according to you guys) long awaited new addition to the High Maintenance Energy series I started several months back. And while I am very proud of all the videos I have made in that series…I gotta say…this might be the most important one. MAYBE the most important video I have ever made. Dramatic? Maybe… But it’s important to understand this video is a by product of a HUGE epiphany I had this month that has changed my life forever. Its crazy when you are finally able to get a 100 yard view of yourself and your worst tendencies and not only see them for what they are but also where it comes from. I hear the concept of “high standards” usually referred to in the context of a relationship. Usually in relationship advice videos, and usually (as with the term High Maintenance) its considered a negative thing. Unsurprisingly, I not only disagree strongly with that sentiment. But more importantly, I think the root of most peoples problems not only in their relationships but in most areas of their lives is that they have NO standards for themselves and others. And they find themselves in these self destructive and frustrating patterns over and over for the rest of their lives. Un-willng and unable to do anything different because they have low or zero standards and therefore have no or low respect for themselves.
