The CT50 features automatic blade rotation via Bluetooth via the Splice+ app for your phone or pressing the blade rotation button on the cleaver. You can still manually rotate the blade by using the wheel on the bottom, no tools required. Once paired with a Bluetooth enabled Fujikura splicer, cleaver blade positions can be automatically advanced when needed based on cleave count or cleave quality. This enables the blade to make the most and best use of it and extends the blade life up to 60,000 cleaves. The blade position indicator clearly displays the selected position and much easier to read compared to the CT30.
