M38 fallschirmjäger helmet project. A first for this one. Learned a lot along the way.

Hi dear viewers, Since my collection is getting bigger and bigger i needed a Fallschirmjäger helmet and i managed to get thsis one really cheap on marketplace. a little while back i asked on iinstagam what you wanted me to do whenever i got a Fallschirmjäger helmet and the most of the votes came out to make it a Normandy camouflage helmet. I did a M35 helmet a little while back already but in this video i also wanted to show you how to age your liner. I took another approach this time since i wanted to make the helmet look like it has seen many battles already and was around for the biggest part of the war. Sadly this helmet doesn't fit me unless i want to get a headache after ten minutes of wearing it. I will get me a bigger helmet in the future. Or 2 or 3. I just love ww2 era helmets. now sit back and enjoy the show! Note, i learned afterwards due to viewers comments that only the 6th fallschirmjäger regiment painted their helmet and they were two tone only using only dunkergelb and felgrau. This means that this is NOT the correct paintjob for this type of helmet. you can use it on m35, m40 and m42 helmets. I will make another video like this one in the future to show the correct way a fj helmet should look like.
