Giacomo Carissimi: Historia di Jephte - Plorate colles, dolete montes Josefien Stoppelenburg, Soprano Cameron Welke, Theorbo Iglésia Regina Angelorum Colonial City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic Recorded Live: June 7, 2022 This performance is part of a program, Música Antigua in la Villa, created by Fundación de la Villa de Santo Domingo to support Dominican musicians and institutions in developing skills, repertoire and performance practices in the music of the Renaissance and Baroque eras, corresponding to the creation of the historic buildings located in the Colonial City. Josefien Stoppelenburg and Cameron Welke were Artist Teachers invited to work with the musicians, give masterclasses and perform as part of this project.
