Please note: Kiwitech Troughs and Hydrants are not for use with direct mains water supplies. As they are bottom filled the inlet is submerged, there is a potential risk of backflow from the trough into the water pipe, there must be an airgap in the system i.e. ball valve in header tank to ensure water from the trough does not enter mains supply.
