Owned by Plainville, Kansas-based owner-operator Greg Wertz, this 2007 Peterbilt 379 is a 2 million-mile workhorse honoring his family's history. Wertz’s Peterbilt has spent its life in the livestock business, hauling cattle, calves, and occasionally pigs across all 48 states. Wertz purchased the truck with 300,000 miles on the odometer as a "jump in and go" package deal. It features a unique orange, blue, and green paint scheme that makes it stand out. Wertz has maintained this unique look over the years, making only minor updates like refreshed hood stripes. Under the hood, the rig is powered by a Cummins ISX engine paired with an 18-speed transmission. Despite the "battle scars" earned from hauling cattle across America, Wertz was proud to show the truck at the 8th Annual Peterbilt Pride & Class show. Wertz was honored to be invited to the invite-only show, but attending wasn't just about his truck; it was about honoring his family's legacy in the industry.
