Episode 3: Road Back to The CrossFit Games
MATILDE ØYEN GARNES THE ROAD BACK TO THE CROSSFIT GAMES In 2025 I was ready for my comeback as an individual crossfit athlete, after years of hitting one wall after another with injuries and overtraining. Or so I thought. A few days before season start, I hit a new one. And this time it was worse. This time it could be a career ender. Spring of 26, I am back competing for a Games spot, against all odds. We have made a documentary series about this journey, telling the story of what actually happened that day, how I coped with the message that my athlete life could be over and my way back to where I am today. Want to follow along to see if I earn the spot to The 2026 Crossfit Games? Follow this channel! Produced by Matilde Garnes and oats & berries. Made by oats & berries. Directed by Andrea Havre. Shot and edited by Bendik Raaen-Mansika This episode is sponsored by Pumphouse.
