Award-winning author and 2026 Ellmann Lecturer Min Jin Lee was joined by acclaimed author and Professor Creative Writing Tayari Jones for a conversation on their creative process and the ways that culture, geography, and politics inflect their work. This event was part of the 2026 Richard Ellmann Lectures in Modern Literature, themed around "Can Wisdom Be Taught?" From March 1-3, 2026, Min Jin Lee’s lectures examined the subject of wisdom in an unpredictable world and the role of storytelling in shaping knowledge, discernment, and good judgment.
