The Churnet Valley Railway with USATC S160 5197
The Churnet Valley Railway with USA Transportation Corps S160 5197 2-8-0 built Lima, Ohio 1945. Based in China from 1946 until the 1990s on coal freight. It was overhauled at Llangollen and returned to traffic in 1998. This video starts at Froghall and Kingsley runs beside the Caldon Canal to a stop at Consall and on through Cheddleton. The final section shows the run round at Leekbrook Junction and the return to Cheddleton.
