Thomas tells James that Rosie has been repainted red, much to his shock and dismay. Emily in the Middle 7:57, Donald and Douglas are called to Brendam Docks to deliver a very long load of steel pipes to Vicarstown, but begin to argue after seeing their train, with Donald confident they are capable of taking it, however Douglas disagrees and refuses to couple up. As Thomas is leaving, he meets Emily, who is on her way to help the twins with the load. Thomas warns Emily about the twins' notorious behaviour of arguing with each other, to which she replies that she will be fine with. A Shed for Edward 17:33, Edward is puffing down the line when he meets up with Philip. James speeds past the engines and Edward tells him to slow down or else he will have a crash. Edward is right; James' brakes do not work and he ends up crashing into the back wall of Tidmouth Sheds.
