Ep.1 - Trans 101 - We Need To Talk About Trans Health Inequality

Discover what it means to be trans, and how and why we as healthcare professionals must do better to address the health inequalities experienced by this population. Welcome! This is the first in a series of four films covering the shortcomings in the way that UK healthcare professionals care for our trans, nonbinary, and gender-diverse patients. It is the culmination of a year-long research, development and engagement effort undertaken as part of University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust’s Chief Nurse Fellowship program, with financial and organisational support from the Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland Integrated Care System’s Academy.
