With a distance of 1,003 km, it successfully became the runner-up for the longest train journey after the reigning champion, the Blambangan Express Train. In its operations, the Sangkuriang offers three service classes: Compartment Suite, Executive, and Economy. The Executive and Economy services utilize Generation I stainless steel. Connecting Bandung to Banyuwangi, the Sangkuriang Train takes approximately 16 to 17.5 hours, depending on the direction of departure.
